Steve has been making things out of wood for as long as he can remember. And that's quite a long time now. Son of a stone mason, he was regularly 'at work' with his dad from a very early age.

Teenage years saw him helping with the family business in between gigs on the road and practicing pop stardom in the studio. A move to London following a recording deal meant a transition to working for himself instead of dad and he's been professionally making and installing bespoke fitted furniture ever since (and unprofessionally quietly playing a bit of guitar).

He set up One Tree Cabinets in 2002 and has worked mainly on word-of-mouth recommendations ever since.
